About the CBCA Global Network
The CBCA network provides urban climate and green economic development practitioners with a platform to exchange ideas and co-create solutions to engage, influence, support and collaborate with businesses to achieve ambitious climate actions and grow the green economy locally.
The network is co-convened by the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM) and C40 Cities.
Key benefits of network membership include:
- Peer Learning: Frequent meetings and webinars covering topics such as green economic development, growing cleantech ecosystems, and supporting local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to improve sustainability in their operations
- Resource Access: Access to specialised tools and the opportunity to co-author knowledge products
- Global Showcase: Invitations to showcase local work at international workshops and events
- Expert Support: Direct advice and consultation meetings with the CBCA team
Membership of the City-Business Climate Alliance (CBCA) network is free of charge.
There are currently 50 city members in the CBCA Network for 2026/27 – learn more about them on the CBCA Cities page
How to join
We run an annual expression of interest process for prospective cities to apply to join the network. Each annual cohort runs from September-August.
